During this pandemic, known as the Coronavirus (COVID-19), I have witnessed so much worry, fear, stress, confusion, frustration, and anxiety amongst friends, family, co-workers, and all over social media. Through it all, I found myself not worrying whatsoever. And because there was so much chaos around me, at first, I felt as though I may have been underreacting. Of course, I've been taking necessary pre-cautions as much as possible, but I didn't find myself worrying because I know who my God is and I know He's a keeper and a protector.
I have faith that the Lord will keep me in good health and that He will keep me in perfect peace. Truly, I have no reason to fear, for He has given me power, love, and a sound mind.
This panic that has been created is only a distraction from the enemy. I believe that God is looking for us to turn to Him during this season, rather than sitting around, waiting to see what the government or anyone else has to say.
God has the FINAL say! And if you haven't done so already, NOW is the time to turn to Him. Now is the time to go forth in prayer, making your sincere requests and petitions known to Him. We must continue to pray without ceasing!
We may not fully understand why this pandemic is happening, but I can assure you of one thing: The Lord is coming back soon and He wants His children to be ready! For we don't know the day nor the hour. (Matt. 25:13)
I'm so thankful that the Lord is still in the saving business and I count it all joy to be able to experience His presence during such a time as this...
My Prayer
Father God,
I thank You for this day.
Thank You for keeping us on Your wake up list once again.
We consider it a blessing to still be in your presence.
Lord, I ask that You cover Your people today.
Cover with Your precious blood, like only You know how.
During this time of crisis, Lord, I ask that You send your peace.
Help us to keep our minds stayed on You.
With so many distractions, help us to stay focused.
So many people have been affected by this virus
and even though things look and feel chaotic,
Help us to remember that You are all powerful
And that You are yet in control.
Touch every household, every family, every sick body, every individual,
Restore health, even now God! Touch those who have lost loved ones.
Send your love and comfort to surround them.
For you are BIGGER than whatever we may be experiencing.
For You are not a God of mistakes,
And as the one and only TRUE God,
you are the God of ALL knowing.
Help us to remember that we aren't supposed to have the answers to everything
And just trusting in you and having faith in You will help us make it through.
I thank You for already performing Your marvelous works in the spirit realm.
